Overview
At The Collab Commons, I developed the brand from the ground up for this collaborative space dedicated to bringing creative minds together. I designed the logo, core brand identity, supporting assets, environmental graphics for both exterior and interior spaces, and cohesive brand collateral to ensure consistency across all touch points.
Challenges
A key challenge was creating a brand that felt inspiring and inclusive of diverse creative disciplines while maintaining a strong, unified identity. Designing across both digital and physical environments required balancing creativity, functionality, and scalability.

Logos
The logo for Collab Commons was designed to feel creative, welcoming, and full of personality. I used a hand-drawn script for “collab” to give the brand a more human and expressive feel, reflecting the creativity of the people who would use the space. The soft rainbow gradient represents the mix of ideas, perspectives, and talents that come together when creatives collaborate. To balance the playful script, I paired it with a clean, simple typeface for “commons” to keep the design grounded and easy to read.
Social Media Posts
These social media posts were designed to highlight the collaborative and community-focused spirit of Collab Commons. I used imagery of creatives working together to visually reinforce the idea that creativity grows through shared ideas and collaboration. The bold typography paired with the brand’s soft gradient colors helps the messaging stand out while still tying back to the overall identity.
Interior Design
I used the brand’s gradient typography and friendly graphics to create an environment that feels creative and welcoming. The “Create. Connect. Collaborate.” piece reinforces the space’s mission, while the illustrated character adds a fun way to guide visitors through the building. Together, these elements help make the space feel engaging and easy to navigate.
Exterior Design
These exterior designs extend the Collab Commons brand into the outside environment, creating a bold and welcoming first impression. I used the vibrant gradient logo and playful illustrated characters to make the signage feel creative and inviting. The large-scale building sign reinforces brand visibility, while the hanging sign adds personality and helps draw people into the space.
Brand Collateral
This brand collateral extends the Collab Commons identity across everyday items used within the space. I applied the brand’s gradient colors, playful illustrations, and clean typography to items like notebooks, coffee cups, and pens to maintain a cohesive visual identity. The staff shirts were designed as employee uniforms, helping team members feel approachable while making it easy for visitors to identify who can help them.
