OVERVIEW
As the Email and Production Designer at Fairytale Brownies, I created branded email campaigns and supporting digital assets that aligned with seasonal promotions and marketing initiatives. I collaborated with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging, strong visual consistency, and optimized layouts across email and social media platforms.
CHALLENGE
As my first professional design role, this position pushed me to quickly learn email marketing systems, platform constraints, and performance-driven design. Navigating these new responsibilities expanded my understanding of marketing strategy and how effective design directly supports business goals.

Research & Inspiration
I begin by gathering inspiration and building a mood board that aligns with the campaign’s theme, seasonality, and brand guidelines. This step helps establish visual direction, typography, color palette, and overall tone before moving into production.
Asset Design
Next, I design the core visual assets in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This includes hero graphics, product callouts, promotional banners, and supporting visuals that will anchor the email layout.
Email Build in Klaviyo
Once assets are finalized, I export and upload them into Klaviyo, where I build out the full email layout. During this stage, I create buttons, links, and supporting design elements directly within the platform. I also implement light HTML customization when needed to refine spacing, alignment, or responsiveness.
Testing & Scheduling
Before launch, I review the email for visual consistency, functionality, and mobile responsiveness. After final approval, I schedule the campaign within Klaviyo to ensure timely and strategic delivery.
